what i've been making Since my last post.

Slouchy hat and a close up of the roses on cocoon.

Finished a slouchy hat. and took a close up picutre of roses on the Baby Cocoon. Found my camera so much better pictures than my phone takes. Shows colors in the main part of the cocoon much better too.
Both of these are available for sale. The hat is 15 the cocoon with matching hat  is 45 Includes shipping to US.

Have to add the rest of the roses and leaves and roses to the hat. I need to get a better picture lol. Think i'll give my hands a little break and work on a slouchy hat or something. Those roses hurt the fingers to make lol.

Teddy Bear Cocoon and Hat Finished.

Finished the cocoon set for an order. I hope she likes it! Wish they had these when the kids were babies . Would of been alot less fighting wind for a blanket. Dropped blankets ect. lol

I'm working on an "angel Cocoon" now. Still have to make the hat and the rest of the flowers. Will have the leaves and flowers sewn all the way around when done.

My latest project still need the ears on the hat and the belly part sewed on. I lost my yarn needle lol. So will do that soon as i get one. :) Going to do one with roses around the top and the hat next i think.

Baby hat

not sure why it's sideways ugh. This is the hats im working on. This is the smaller size. This one needs to be bigger for the person needing it. That's why you can see yarn coming from it. I'm making it bigger so it will fit up to 6 mo.

Starghan

I haven't been keeping up with this really haven't been doing any crafting either. I did start a starghan the other day. So thought id post it. Hope to do some embroidery soon don't have anything to embroider atm.

Quilling (what id love to be able to do)

Id love to start quilling. One of these days maybe ill be able to get the kit. Who would of thought such beautiful things could be made. Someone recently told me about quilling. Id never heard of it. So i googled it. Wow! I saw some beautiful pics of things people have made. From cards to flower arrangements. Check out this Lily pond made paper quilling . My sister would so love this. (she collects frogs things  :) )

A few things ive been working on

I've been really lazy about posting on here lol. Pretty sure no one ever visits my blog anyway . But just in case. I've been working on a shirt for the local Southern Cruisers St. Jude benefit ride in May. I've got awhile till its time but tshirts will be coming my way soon. So i really need to work on making the design bigger. The first pic is just a simple heart i put on mikayla's shirt. The second one is for the benefit ride. (this was the sample hubby showed them. ) The third is my embroidery machine and my thread. Really need to get more stabalizer. A very sweet lady is sending me some water soluble stabilizer so i can try my hand at lace embroidery. I can't wait she really makes some beautiful things with her machine. Hubby made my desk out of 2 shelves and a board i forget what its called lol. But i love it! I'll update more later in case anyone actually views this lol.

Mom's afghan finished and Earflap hat with braids.

It took awhile but, I am finally finished with mom's round ripple. It's extremely soft. Measures 73 inches point to point. (6 foot 1 inch) Shew that took awhile. It will be going home with her tommarro. Also finished a Earflap hat with braids in valentines colors. Mikayla snapped this right up lol. :) So here are the pictures of both items.  I'm off to start a little valentines surprize for someone. I'd say who but not sure if she reads this blog or not lol. Mikayla's teacher may order two of these hats she asked mikayla to ask me a price on them . So we shall see. :) 

For mom

Mom decided she wanted a afghan as well so she bought the yarn. Here is the start to it.

She bought homespun yarn it's super soft and thick. Just love it. More expensive yarn. But worth it!

Here is the start of ashley's afghan . It wasn't intentional but i like it. Not sure she will But, It looks like a sun in the middle :) . May look more like a flower when it gets bigger not sure.  I changed a few things on this one. Since it doesn't have a border type color it will have more of a stacked look to it. (only doing back loop on color changes ) I also made the center color smaller than i did on the others. Which resulted in the sun look in the middle.

Next rr. not done yet.

Purple ,black and lt green. Only measures about 34 inches now. got a little ways to go.

Will be posting pics of batman and my cousins afghan (its done) as soon as i can get my card reader to do what it's sapposed to lol. Been very busy crocheting and the kids have been out of school due to snow for quite some time. They actually got to go back today!
